Passive Voice | Modal Auxiliaries

Today's Summary

Active Voice पढ़ते समय हमने Modals को दो समूहों में वर्गीकृत किया था।

  1. Group - I (original)
  2. Group - II (with 'Have')

Group - I

  1. Active voice में इनके साथ M.V. I form में प्रयोग की जाती थी।
  2. Passive Voice बनाते समय इनके साथ 'be' जोड़ा जाता है।

Examples :

  • It can be done by you.
  • This topic should not be neglected.

Group - II

  1. इनके अन्त में 'have' देखने को मिलता है।
  2. Active voice में इनके साथ M.V. III form में प्रयोग की जाती थी।
  3. Passive Voice बनाते समय इनके साथ 'been' जोड़ा जाता है।

Examples :

  • It could have been done by you.
  • This topic should not have been neglected.
